The American Association for Aerosol Research (AAAR) is proud to announce its third international specialty conference entitled "Air Pollution and Health: Bridging the Gap from Sources to Health Outcomes." The conference is sponsored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the Health Effects Institute (HEI), and others. The Air and Waste Management Association is co-sponsoring with AAAR. The objectives and guiding themes, the latter presented as a series of policy relevant science questions are provided in links on the home page. By addressing these questions this conference hopes to better Bridge the Gap across the Source to Health Effects paradigm and together improve our understanding of the linkages between air pollution and health outcomes. We welcome all those interested in achieving this goal to submit abstracts to the conference through this web site. Please read each science question carefully before submitting your abstract.

The conference will consist of nine plenary sessions, one focusing on each of the eight science questions and the last on policy implications and conference summary. Each plenary will involve 3 or 4 speakers. Regular and poster sessions will be designed to support each days two plenary sessions.

Most papers (> 75%) will be accepted as posters, excluding invited plenary talks. Please consider this when choosing poster vs. platform presentation.
