Known for its perfect climate, San Diego is one of the most popular cities in California and offers visitors a myriad of activities to pursue during their time in the city.

Specialty conference attendees will have spectacular views of the marina, San Diego Bay, and the downtown area of the city. For those who like to walk, it is an easy, leisurely stroll from the hotel to the area of Seaport Village which offers shops, restaurants, and entertainment.

The city itself is known for the diversity and uniqueness of its attractions. The world-renowned San Diego Zoo, LEGOLAND California, and Sea World San Diego are sure to delight both children and adults. Balboa Park offers the largest concentration of museums west of the Mississippi.

Visit Little Italy to sample exquisite Italian cuisine at quaint restaurants. Stroll around Old Town San Diego, the core of the early settlement in San Diego and restored to give visitors an idea of what life was like during those historic days.

The Gaslamp District, encompassing sixteen-and-a-half blocks near the San Diego Convention Center, boasts more than 100 restaurants, pubs, and nightclubs. Victorian-era buildings line the streets, and visitors and local residents alike frequent this area for excellent food and entertainment.

If shopping is more to your liking, Horton Plaza, also located downtown, offers multi-level outdoor shopping and entertainment options. Created to resemble a European market place, Horton Plaza is anchored on one end by Nordstrom’s.

Within easy driving distance are the La Jolla, Coronado, and Point Loma areas.
